Some of my patterns

I love working with Amy Butler Fabric and so far, I have published two quilt patterns for BirdyStreet Presents... (that's me!), which have been inspired by Amy's beautiful fabric collections.  A highlight for me was meeting Amy in Nov of 2008 when I attended the Melbourne Quilt Market with Jacqui and Jody of Patchwork at Homespun.  Her seminar with slide show was amazing and so inspiring.  She made me feel that I could accomplish anything!! Midwest Modern2 was set to be released at that time and our shop bought the range and planned an 'Amy Butler Trunk Show' which co-ordinated with the fabric release.
Here are Jody, Jacqui and I with Amy Butler, Nov 08.  I released my quilt "Mod Scallops" at the Trunk Show which we hosted at Patchwork at Homespun in March 09- here are some pics-
such a pretty quilt!!

The colours of Midwest Modern2 team so beautifully with the snow white Kona Cotton solid background.

Of course, Amy's next range was "Love" and once again, the girls ordered the fabrics for our shop.  Jacqui and I put our heads together and designed "The Love Cover" which features a centre medallion and huge flying geese in the final border which set the whole quilt on point.
These BirdyStreet Presents... patterns can be purchased from http://www.homespunworkshops.com.au/ or from Lee Bee Designs
I am thinking hard about how to use Soul Blossoms, Amy's newest range.  Rita of Red Pepper Quilts is making something very beautiful with these fabrics, and I cannot wait to see her finished quilt!
